would like to discuss about the Islamic Capital Market. What is Islamic Capital
Market? We always hear Capital Market only right?
Capital
Market is long term financial assets market, which comprises all public and
private instruments with maturities exceeding one year, corporate stocks and
shares which have no fixed maturity and commodity forward transactions.
Islamic
Capital Market is activities such as the conventional market but based on
Sharia principles.
The
characteristics of Islamic ethics about the rights and responsibilities of
parties involved in this promising market
- - Freedom to contract : Mutually bless each other
: There is no element of coercion
- - Free from usury
- - Free of gharar
- - Free from speculation
- - Free to do business in a fair and equitable price.
- - The right to obtain the same information, appropriate and adequate.
- - Priority to protect public interest.

Islam places great emphasis on transparency of
operation, which aims to safeguard the interests of all parties involved as
well as closing a loophole that could lead to conflict in the future.
That is all
that I can share you today about the characteristics of Islamic capital market
that we as Muslim should choose not the conventional capital that have many
